Ven Wong
I am a creative director at 7 Steps Production with 21 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in animations, comic strips, and games. I graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2003 with a Diploma in Digital Media Design, specializing in animation. I am skilled in producing 2D artworks, designs, illustrations, and animations using tools such as Clip Studio Paint, Aseprite, Adobe Animate, and Photoshop.
Some of my notable projects include creating the CubeMelt series, designing the Nila mascot for the 28th SEA Games, KK and JJ for River Wonders and art directing the I Love Children and Scam Alert campaigns.
From 2008 to 2012, I worked as an Art Director at Scrawl Studios, where I created characters and conceptualized art styles for various TV productions. In 2009, I went to Seattle to work at Sandlot Games through the Singapore EDB training programme, where I was involved in conceptualizing sketches, animations, UIs, and production-ready art.
